| Team Mentor Spotlight: Chef Brad Newman |
Cooking up Change couldn't happen without team mentors helping students craft their delicious, nutritious contest recipes. Chef Brad Newman of Quest Food Management Services, mentor to this year's Julian High School team, serves as the Executive Chef at The Latin School of Chicago. His Chicago roots run deep -- his family has been selling produce and manufacturing pickles on Chicago’s Randolph Street Produce Market for almost a century. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Brad gained experience working in prestigious restaurants with chefs like Martial Noguier, Charlie Trotter, and Antonio Hidalgo, in Chicago and around the world. Now with Quest Food Management Services at The Latin School, he's passionate about sustainable, organic products and has worked to bring creative, fresh food to children at school.
HSC thanks Chef Brad Newman and all of our team mentors this year for their incredible support!
